BEAR CERIUM Montreal Summer School 2018

The Jean Monnet BEAR Network, in partnership with CÉRIUM, organized its first summer school: “Between the EU and Russia: Transnational ‘Soft Power’ and Societal Activism.” Taught by renowned scholars from Russia, Estonia, the UK, and Canada, the summer school explored EU and Russian regional integration projects as well as EU-Russian influence over elections, the judiciary, social movements, and de facto states and diasporas in Central and Eastern Europe.

The summer school took place at the University of Montreal from June 18-23, 2018.
